SATEC’s Branch Circuit Power Meter is the leading technology for Multiple Circuit Metering, with high Accuracy Class 0.5S Energy Metering, Data Logging, Event Logging, Real Time Clock (RTC), Time of Use (TOU) Tariff metering. SATEC’s BFM136 Branch Circuit Power Meter technology provides reduced space for tenant metering both new and retrofit, providing the perfect solution when interfaced with SATEC HACS/Current Sensors.
Sub metering of commercial, retail and residential tenants allows facility managers and body corporates to provide electricity bills per tenant in addition to load profiling, ensuring the user is more accountable for their usage. Due to the Branch Circuit Power Meter being compact this provides advantageous of space savings for distribution boards or Power Distribution Units (PDU) for new or retrofit applications for Power Metering. The BFM136 complies with the National Measurement Institute (NMI) for the only Branch Circuit Power Meter currently on the Australian market that can be used for electricity billing applications.
The Branch Circuit Power Meter measures up to 36 single-phase circuits but also providing the ability to be configured as 12 three phase Power Meters, or a combination of single and three phase Power Meters via SATEC High Accuracy Current Sensors (HACS).
